The funfair and the largest bouncy castle in Europe transform the open-air area into a lively meeting place full of colorful lights, the scent of traditional fair delicacies and varied rides.

Experiences for children and moments of enjoyment for adults

The extensive children's program guarantees bright eyes for the kids. An absolute highlight is the annual Herbstmesse rally, where kids explore the grounds playfully.

You can reach new heights with crate climbing, on the largest bouncy castle in Europe and many other interactive stations. Meanwhile, fair mascot DORO is ready for plenty of memorable photos and the face painting transforms faces into imaginative creatures.

While the children explore the entire fair playfully, the offers the adults the perfect opportunity to discover the latest products and trends in household, living, enjoyment, and lifestyle at the same time.

Afterwards, the family meets again at the Schnabuliermeile. There, regional specialties invite everyone to taste together, while the winemakers present wines from various Austrian wine regions.

From tractors to woodworking

How much work in agriculture and forestry has changed is shown by the agricultural technology exhibition of the Herbstmesse. The range spans from flails to tractors of different generations to modern machines. Children get to discover technology up close, while parents and grandparents share their own memories and experiences.

In the wood worlds the tour then leads from the local tree to the finished piece. Wood types, traditional joints, furniture, and award-winning construction projects showcase the diversity of wood.

A real highlight for all generations is Vorarlberg’s largest prize Jassen tournament. As a deeply rooted regional format, this traditional game brings enthusiastic card players of all ages together at the tables.

New: Beach bar with summer vibes

This year, a new beach area complements the lively outdoor atmosphere. Cozy deck chairs create a holiday atmosphere right next to the fairground.

Two modern cocktail bars provide refreshment, while regional up-and-coming DJs with relaxed beats offer the perfect backdrop to unwind away from the hustle and bustle, make contacts, and reflect on the fair day.

The fairground and beach bar are open daily until 8 p.m. – this offers the ideal conclusion and a lively transition before the live concerts like “A Tribute to Adriano Celentano – Concert Show,” Beats & Brass and the Tracht’n Vibes start at the Oktoberfäscht in the evening.
